The Virtual Research Institute is a scientific project supported by the Łukasiewicz Research Network – PORT, aimed at the development of modern technologies in the fields of biotechnology and medicine. The Institute coordinates the work of research teams, such as HERO and INTERCEPT, implementing innovative scientific projects. It is involved in organizing calls for project funding and supports cooperation between research teams and experts, providing funding from national and European budgets. The Institute strives to implement research outcomes in practice, contributing to progress in healthcare and biomedical technologies.
